Abstract

Control theory applied with embedded systems al- lowed a great advance in industrial processes. With the applica- tion of sensors and microcontrollers, a physical quantity can be measured and controlled. This work presents the development of a PID controller applied to a heating plant. The development of the electronic circuit, the controller design and the experimental results are presented and discussed.
