Abstract

As one of the sectors most affected by the crisis caused by the co-ronavirus, the food business establishments will have to adapt to strict rules to promote the gradual return of its activities. Among some precautions, it is recommended that food establishments reorganize their space, ensuring a safe distance between people. In this work, we solved the problem of maximizing the minimum distance between tables and people in an establishment defined by a convex region. The problem was modeled as a nonlinear programming problem and implemented in the Julia programming language. Finally, a user interface was created.
