Abstract

This paper relays the "CLDR" team's experience while addressing electronic waste in the curricular component of Extension Practices, at the 2nd year in the Software Engineer course of the Paraná Federal Institute - Paranavaí Campus. The team researched the causes and impacts of electronic waste and compiled them into a lecture, which was then presented to the students of the Silvio Vidal Civic-Military School. Throughout development, the team was able to grasp the importance of raising awareness and teaching collective responsibility in the search for a sustainable future.
