Data Acquisition Study for a Baropodometer Using the MyRIO Embedded Platform

Resumo

Baropodometry brings possible problems in human footsteps, mapping plantar pressure and helping to diagnose body posture. The baropodometer is composed of hardware and software, the FSR 402 was used in the tests, it is a flexible pressure sensor, it has variable resistive characteristics, being very widespread for animal and human gait application. This research aims to bring a possibility to apply a MyRIO platform to perform high-tech baropodometry.
